Wallet, usage, and caps

Self-serve hosting is prepaid. Add credit, use resources, and set a cap so the bill cannot run away.

Choose your currency

The pricing page and your billing screens switch between Malawi Kwacha and US dollars. Your choice is remembered. The same amounts are shown either way.

What you pay for

  • • vCPU time and memory while your app runs.
  • • Disk used by the app.
  • • Traffic leaving the app.
  • • Build time used to create images.
  • • Database memory and disk.

Usage is measured hourly and drawn from your wallet. The dashboard shows what each resource has used this month.

Top up

Top up from the Billing page with mobile money or a card. The minimum is MWK 7,500 or $5. Credit does not expire.

Spend cap

Set a monthly cap in your chosen currency. You are alerted before the balance runs low. At zero, paid apps stop after a 72-hour grace period and data is retained for 14 days. Top up to resume.

A cap of 0 disables the hard stop. Without a cap, the wallet balance is still the hard limit.

Demo apps

Demo apps are not billed. They are capped at 0.1 vCPU, 128 MB memory, 256 MB disk, a 64 MB database, and 5 build minutes. They sleep after 15 minutes and are removed after 7 idle days.

Managed services

Managed hosting and business email are separate packages, billed after a written quote. Request a quote from the Managed page.
